FEB64 board condition monitoring
Purpose
Monitor periodically (~1Hz) all the DC Voltages required for the proper operation of the FEB64 card. Current consumption, temperatures are monitored as well. The FEB64 can be controlled for the following operation:
- Manual Power Up sequence, ie: turn ON all the DC Voltage (Def:OFF).
- Manual Shutdown sequence, ie: turn OFF all the DC Voltage.
- Toggle the activation of the Charge Pump (Def:OFF).
- Set Charge Pump DACs.
- Activate individual bias voltage branch.
- Set Individual Bias DACs.
- Save/Restore from EEPROM all the internal coefficient, Qpump voltage, Switch, Bias DACs.
- Issue auto-calibration procedure.

- +6Vdigital voltage off limits : Shutdown FEB64 (FEB64 Limit parameters).
- +6Vanalog voltage off limits : Shutdown FEB64 (FEB64 Limit parameters).
- -6Vanalog voltage off limits : Shutdown FEB64 (FEB64 Limit parameters).
- +6Vdigital current off limits : Shutdown FEB64 (FEB64 Limit parameters).
- +6Vanalog current off limits : Shutdown FEB64 (FEB64 Limit parameters).
- -6Vanalog current off limits : Shutdown FEB64 (FEB64 Limit parameters).
- uC Temperature off limits : Shutdown FEB64 (FEB64 Limit parameters).
- Board Temperature off limits : Shutdown FEB64 (FEB64 Limit parameters).
- FGD Temperature off limits : Shutdown FEB64 (FEB64 Limit parameters).
MSCB Registers
3 registers are available for the main operations of the card:
- Error register indicating individual type of error.
- Control register use for command activation. Its state will return to '0' once the command is issued.
- Status register confirming the success of the command request. In case of failure, the status will not be set and the source of the fault will be registered in the error register.
